HK never stops :) The brown board has been added to the hallway leading up to the tower.

HK adds the trim around the kitchen window so I can get ready for brickwork.

I've added the hardware cloth with lots of galvanized ring nails around the kitchen window. Next weekend will come the scratch coat and perhaps the first bricks.

The half timbers were painted this afternoon!

HK has been working on the dining room window also to get ready for half timbering.

More Reno Progress and Spring is Here

A bouquet of spring flowers.
Daffodils are out and sharing their brilliance with the world.

A rather large garter snake is in the garden eating lots of bugs.

The sassy red squirrel is yelling at everyone.

Last year we took cuttings from a periwinkle; this spring they are already in bloom and spreading around the new plantings.

Henrik is adding DonnaConna board on many of the new walls for sound damping.

The wall under the kitchen window is ready to receive the scratch coat.  The worker man can be seen inside.

The hallway wall of the new guest bedroom will have a series of glass panes at the top, to allow light from the skylight to get into the hallway.
The view down the hallway to the great room .

The Christmas bat boxes after their first coat of paint.
They will be ready to install after one more coat.
