First Steps to Brickwork Around the Kitchen Window

The rain screen has been added to the wall in preparation for bricks.  Next weekend I'll add the wire mesh and soon thereafter the scratch coat.  Only after that will we be ready to install the bricks.

Insulation and Vapour Barrier

The sun is coming in the skylights today.
It's great to imagine what it will look like finished.

Henrik is up and down the ladder insulating and replacing the old vapour barrier on all the walls and ceilings.  The old barrier was very thin and very much damaged in the demolition process.

The sun is shining in the skylight in the future kitchen.
