Hummingbird Casualty

This poor little guy found his way into the addition and couldn't find his way out again. We discovered him today and had a memorial ceremony :(

The back hill

The hill at the back of the property is filled in and cleaned up where the concrete and fill from the renovation was dumped. The next step will be to fertilize and add grass and wildflower seeds so that it looks more acceptable.

Tower Dormer

With the contractors gone and framing inspection passed, Henrik is working hard to get the tower dormer to completion so that we have a spare room once again.

A new hatch to the storage space will be built.

Styrofoam baffles go in behind the insulation to ensure that air movement is sufficient.

The plywood floor has been replaced with stronger stock.

Roof and Gutters are Finished Garden is Blooming

The roof and gutters have been completed. Only a couple more odds and ends on the downspouts and they'll also be finished. We're in good shape for water collection again, now all we need is some rain.

The greenhouse seedlings are underway as are the garden peas and lettuce. Hopefully we will have a productive year in both the garden and working on the next steps for the house.
