Front Steps and Brickwork on Driveway Side

The last brick on the driveway side is put in place.
Now a bit of a breather for AO before moving around to the Ocean side of the house. 

The front steps are in place.
This is so much better than the gravel that's been in place for the last 3 years.

Forms and Bricks

HK is building the forms for the front steps.

Perfectly level!

Soon to be filled with concrete. 

Bricks are going up around the octagon window and closet wall.
There was a lot of swearing today :(

Green and Yellow and Blue Guys

The yellow rose has a spider pal.
It has come back to life now that the hedge has been cut back and the sun can get through. 

The first bachelor button of the summer. 

Columbines continue to bloom.

The tomato plants are flowering.
We hope they will produce lots of fruit this year. 

Brickwork Around Front Door is Finished

HK reattaches the light fixtures.

The front door is finally finished.

The new Japanese Maple looks fiery in the afternoon sun.

Brickwork continues around the front door. 

Henrik is building supports for the peas.
I planted too many again :)

The laburnum is in full bloom.
Hundreds if not thousands of bumble bees have found the trees.
