Drywall Taping and Mudding is Nearly Complete

The drywall has been taped and mudded. Next steps are sanding, texturing the ceiling and priming.

Garden Developments

Henrik is working quickly in the garden to get the irrigation system fixed up again.

The planter has been completed. A trellis for the ivy to grow up has been installed and the ivy planted.  We have chosen some plants to go in the planter that we hope will be deer proof.

The hummingbird feeder has been installed; now we just have to wait for the hummers to arrive.

Spring is here

After many hours of buttercup removal the edging is going around the perennial bed.  Hopefully we can keep the weeds from crawling in and the flowers from crawling out!

The daffodils have opened! Spring is really finally here.

Drywall!

The drywall arrived on Thursday morning.

Much of it entered the house through the windows.

The board was installed on Saturday.

. 

Next will come taping and mudding and a lot of dust!

Fireplace is Finally Finished

The fireplace is finally complete.  The hearth was installed today and looks wonderful

We are absolutely thrilled with the hearth! It is really gorgeous.
