Garden Clean Up

Spring cleaning in the garden has kept HK very busy!

The Camas are in full bloom!

More Progress

The hardiplank has been put onto the outside of the window wall and been painted.  Next, cedar boards are going between the windows; we'll have to wait until they dry out properly before we paint them dark brown like the rest of the cedar on the house.

The floor was painted in the entry way to see if we like the color combination.

The first coat of dark grey paint looks great! Tomorrow the second coat will go on.

Painting, Siding and Spring

The entry way has been painted "malted milk", it looks a bit darker than in this picture.  With the black trim and a 'mocha' tile floor it should be quite dramatic.

Henrik has started in on the siding for the front of the house.

The Junko's have been nesting under the car port for several weeks.  We expect the babies to show up any day.

The Robin's have joined in the nesting fest at the other end of the carport.

The cherry tree is in full bloom.  A few bumble bees are around doing some pollinating but it's the mason bees that are the busiest.

Easter Bunny!

The Easter Bunny left many eggs strewn around the house.

A tree fell in the forest, and nobody heard

A tree fell down behind the pump house, thank goodness it didn't hit the cistern or the pump house. Too bad the trees didn't come down in front of the house instead!
